A blog by Michael Giudici, John Bamberg and Gordon Royle, all mathematicians at The University of Western Australia. We will discuss a mix of mathematical research, expository stuff and topics of general interest to mathematicians. Our main fields of interest are group theory, combinatorics and computation.
The casual passerby may wonder about the name SymOmega. This comes from the notation referring to the symmetric group of all permutations of a set , which is something all of us have both written and read many times over.
I accidentally found this interesting and useful blog, thank you Michael, John and Gordon for sharing the information! š
I’m Brazilian Math Student and I like math blog’s. It’s a hobby and stay here is a pleasure. Thanks š
