An editorial on gold vs diamond

John Sheekey, who some of you will know as an irishman who works on semifields at Uni. Padova, has teemed up with his older brother (a law academic) in writing an editorial for a law journal on the issue of open access journals:

All that glitters is not gold, but is it diamond?

  1. It’s a pity that this article by John Sheekey and his brother call the “Australasian Journal of Combinatorics” the “Australian…”. But it’s nice to see the journal given as an example in this interesting article.

  2. Apologies for the typo, it will be corrected… another benefit of online journals!

Professor Cameron, yes it seems (anecdotally) that we may be in the minority of areas where gold access is not already commonplace, which I think makes it more vital that we speak up for ourselves!
