A group photo

In my first year of my PhD, I sat in an honours course given by Cheryl Praeger and Tim Penttila, and the famous “group photo” appeared. It is a Venn diagram, drawn below, that not only describes the inclusions of various sets of groups, but also gives examples which divide them. It’s a cute thing to have when you are first studying group theory.
